Sandra “Sandi” L. Spencer, 74

Sandra L. “Sandi” Spencer, 74, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, at her home in Bridgeport, Nebraska, with her family by her side.

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bridgeport Church of Christ. Pastor Jonathan Seng will officiate. Inurnment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance. Online condolences may be left at www. batesgould.com.

Sandra was born February 14, 1949, in Gordon, Nebraska, to Frank F. and Evelyn L.

(Lorenz) Slaby.

On June 11, 1967, she was united in marriage to the late Wendel R. Spencer at the United Methodist Church in Gordon.

Sandi enjoyed reading, working on puzzles, and was excellent at baking homemade bread. Her love of animals was unconditional. She was a member of the Bridgeport Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children: Evelyn Morgan of Bridgeport, Samantha (James) Kittelmann of Bridgeport, William (Amy) Spencer of Bartlett, Nebraska, and Sidney (Jeana) Spencer of Bridgeport. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 1 greatgreat- grandchild, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son-in-law, and a granddaughter.
