The Bridgeport boys basketball team participated in a team camp at the National Collegiate Athletic Association class D1 Northern Colorado campus recently. The boys played up in a 5A bracket, with the 6A bracket the largest classification in Colorado.
Boys head coach Sean Sterkel said of the camp, “This was an elite experience for our boys to compete against the physicality, speed, and size of big schools. As a staff we are excited about the future of our program and what this team is doing to be ready for the season.”
The Bulldogs had wins versus Greely West and Palisaide, both of Colorado, and losses to Kelly Walsh, Cheyenne Central, and Laramie, all of Wyoming, and Golden, Colorado.
