A fourth straight win advanced the Bridgeport High School boys basketball team into the semifinals of the South Platte Valley Association Tournament. The Bulldogs, who are now 8-4 on the season, rolled past Sutherland 65-24 in a first-round game on Monday.
Bridgeport will now face Perkins County in a semifinal game on Thursday at 7 p.m. at North Platte Community College.The winner will play for the tournament title on Saturday at 5 p.m.
In Monday’s win, Kolby Lussetto scored 19 points and Gage Nein added 15. After a slow start, Bridgeport never trailed in cruising past the winless Sailors.
