One of Bridgeport’s newest arrivals on the teaching circuit is Kylee Sterkel, formerly the high school administrative assistant at Bridgeport Public Schools.This year, Sterkel took a position teaching computers and personal finance.
Born and raised in Glen Ullin, North Dakota, Sterkel graduated from Glen Ullin High in 2008 and from Dickinson State University in 2012 with a Business Administration major and Office Administration minor. She completed a master’s in health administration in 2014 from the University of Phoenix.
Sterkel came to Bridgeport in 2020 with her husband, Sean Sterkel, a Bridgeport native, when he took the boys basketball coaching position. Sean is also the strength and conditioning teacher. Since then, Kylee has been a big part of the school system in Bridgeport, showing her support at many of the sporting events and participating in community activities.
