Bridgeport girl’s golf opened their season at Bayard with twelve schools competing at the Chimney Rock Golf Course. Hershey took the top spot with the low score of 471, followed by Chadron with 472, Perkins County with 479, and North Platte St. Pats with 538. Bridgeport ended in fifth place with a score of 551.
While the Lady Bulldogs had no top ten finisher, Cassandra Hopwood came in at the 11th place spot with 123 strokes. She was followed by Mara Soto with 1330 strokes, Katie Eckhardt with 136, and Eden Strawn with 162.The girls are at the Western Trails Conference match today at Gordon-Rushville and at Chadron on Tuesday.
