Morrill County Courthouse was getting a deep cleaning last weekend, at least on the outside. Brandy Nolte and her Colorado company were in town sandblasting the red brick layer at the base of the courthouse, chipping away at years of hard water stains from the lawn sprinklers. Following the blasting, she used a power washer to wash away any remaining sediment before finishing up with a clear coat to seal the brick up and prevent future damage to the bricks. The cost of the cleaning project was $7,000, and made the 114-year-old brick look brand new.
