The Bridgeport Lady Bulldogs took third place at the Southern Platte Valley Association’s conference tournament on Saturday, beating out Perkins County in two sets, but falling to Chase County, also in two sets.
In the victory over the Plainsmen, team leaders were Grace Dean who logged a dozen kills, Fallon DeBois who served up dual aces, and Kendal Deaver, Aubrey Watts, and Jailyn Nichols, who each served up one.
Watts led the way with seven digs, followed by Dean with five, and Ella Schulterbusch with four.Watts also added fourteen assists, while Brooklyn Mohrman, Schluterbusch, and Dean each had eight receptions over the course of the two sets.
