Beverley Jean Zwiebel, age 76, of Rosholt, South Dakota, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her home on Lake Traverse. Funeral services were held November 4, 2023, at at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt, with Rev. Nancy Quatier officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Omaha, NE.
Honorary pallbearers were the Rosholt school staff and students. Active pallbearers were Jeff Zwiebel, Ed Sturgis, Dan Swartz,Tom Renelt, Lenny Thomas, and Jerry Fischer.
Beverley Iverson Emery Zwiebel was born July 21, 1947, to Andrew and Marguerite (Welker) Iverson in Sedro-Woolley, WA.When she was six weeks old, her family moved to the ranch/farm that her grandfather, Henry Scott Welker, homesteaded south of Bridgeport, NE. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1965 and Chadron State College in 1971.
