Bridgeport alum Shawn Teppert, a 2022 graduate, has earned his American FFA Degree, the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization. According to their website, the American FFA Degree “Shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA Association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career. American FFA Degree recipients show promise for the future and have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence.”
To earn the degree, members must first have received a State FFA degree, and must hold active membership for the past three years.They must also complete secondary instruction in an agricultural education program and show leadership in community service activities.
Teppert travelled to Indianapolis this past weekend with his family and walked across the stage of the Lucas Oil Stadium to accept his degree.
