The Prairie Winds Community Center was the place to be in Bridgeport on Saturday night when the Bridgeport Team-Mates chapter held a 1980s theme prom dance and dinner for the 21 and older crowd.
The event was a fund raiser for the local chapter with all proceeds benefiting the Bridgeport Teammates chapter. Couples and singles came out in droves for the party, with some dressed in theme attire, to dance to New Wave Time Machine, who provided the 80s music. A cash bar was offered up by Steel Grill Bar 64, while a nacho, taco and ice cream bar were also served to those in attendance.
The fund raiser was sponsored by the following Bridgeport businesses: Steel Grill, Allo, Morrill County Community Hospital, Lapaseotes family farms, Bridgeport Ethanol, Platte Valley Bank, and Sonnys Super Foods.
