The inter-local agreement with the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for Extension services was approved during the Morrill County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday. The commissioners had questioned whether that paperwork was drawn up correctly at the previous meeting because the agreement did not include Scotts Bluff County.
Hospital Administrator Robin Stuart reported on hospital business. A neighboring facility made a clerical error in a billing contract under contractual agreement with Morrill County Community Hospital that led to several insurance payouts being declined. Rebilling efforts are underway with the corrections made.This, along with an extra pay period in the last month shows an approximate $500,000 deficit. That will all be corrected in the months ahead. Everything else is reported to be going well.
Commissioners recertified Bryan Hoerler as the County Highway Superintendent.The contract with Maximus was also renewed.There was one bid for the 2002 van from Jonilee Weibert for $2,000.That bid was accepted.
