Bridgeport wrestlers continue to grapple on the mat

Bridgeport was the host site for the Bridgeport-Sidney Wrestling Invite last Saturday.

Bridgeport girls earned a second- place spot with 101 points behind only Ogallala, while the boys landed a sixth-place spot with 97.5 points.

Lady wrestlers Kyra Robbins and Paige Dalimata each earned a first-place spot. Robbins won with a pin at 4:44 against Audrey Morris of Sterling. She is 9-3 on the season now in the 125-pound division. Dalimata won with pins over Abigail Nelson of Hay Springs in 1:50, and Aiva Raymer of Alliance in 3:13. Dalimata is 3-2 on the season in the 130-pound division.
