The Bridgeport High School basketball teams split a pair of games against Chase County last Thursday in Imperial to conclude their pre-holiday schedule. Olivia Loomis-Goltl scored 24 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 53-25 win, while the Longhorns held the Bridgeport boys to just 40 points in a 47-40 setback.
Both Bulldog squads are now off until 2024 when they travel to Ogallala on Jan. 2.
The win at Chase County improved the Lady Bulldogs to 8-0 on the season.They’re ranked No. 3 in Class C-1 by the Omaha World-Herald and have now won 41 straight regular-season games.
