Bulldogs open 2024 with wins on the hardwood

Back in action for the first time in 2024, the Bridgeport basketball teams earned wins this past week.

The Lady Bulldogs improved their unbeaten record to 10-0 with a 63-60 win at Ogallala and a 56-29 home victory over Class B Alliance.

In their closest game of the season so far, the Lady Bulldogs received clutch free-throw shooting to escape the Indians’ upset bid. As a team, Bridgeport converted 17 of 23 free throws in the game. Ella Schluterbusch sank a pair of late free throws to preserve the win.
