The Morrill County Commissioners held their annual reorganizational meeting on Tuesday. Board Chairman Jeff Metz, First Vice Chairwoman Susanna Batterman and Second Vice Chairman Joshua Schmidt were all elected to continue in their positions on the board.
The commissioners will serve as representatives from Morrill County to the following boards for 2024: Schmidt: Region 1 Office of Human Development, Aging Office of Western Nebraska, Safety Committee,Veterans Board, and Morrill/Scotts Bluff County Extension Board.
Metz: Community Action Center of Western Nebraska (CAPWN), Morrill County Fair Board, and Morrill County Community Hospital liaison.
