Platte Valley Bank donates to Broadwater Rural Fire District

Platte Valley Bank Community President Lewis Coulter of Bridgeport presented almost $5,000 to the Broadwater Volunteer Fire Department on December 27th.

Broadwater Fire Department received grant funding from the America Rescue Plan Act with the State of Nebraska for $200,000.They are looking to raise another $120,000.

“We are thrilled to help support our local community and donate to this wonderful cause,” said Coulter. “The Broadwater Volunteer Fire department has been an important part of Broadwater and the surrounding communities since it was organized in 1952.We are happy to support their efforts to upgrade to a safer, more efficient ambulance.”
