Leyton teams played Hyannis and Creek Valley in basketball action last weekend with mixed results for the boys. In their first loss of the season, the Warrior fell to Hyannis 55-61 on Saturday after crushing Creek Valley Storm 90-28 on Friday night.The boys are now 19-1 on the season.
In the girls game, the Lady Warriors beat the Longhorns of Hyannis 63-47. In that game, three girls scored in double digits. Zaili Benish dazzled once again putting up 27 points on the board, followed by Sydney Fortune with 12 and Shawnee Gamble with ten. Claire Watchorn also had eight.
Fortune also nabbed 13 rebounds. In the game against the Creek Valley Storm, it was double digits again, this time for Benish with 23 points, Gamble with 21 points, and Watchorn with ten points.
