Olivia Loomis-Goltl became just the second player in Bridgeport High School basketball history to surpass the 2,000-point career scoring mark in the Lady Bulldogs’ 71-36 win over Gordon-Rushville on Friday.

The senior, who scored 27 points in the game, reached 2,008 career points. She joined her older sister, Ruthie, as the only two players in school history to accomplish the 2,000-point feat. Ruthie, the school’s leading scorer, concluded her career last season with 2,075 points.

The all-time leader in career points scored by a female in the Panhandle is Alliance’s Jordan Hooper with 2,078.
