Bridgeport Speech team competed in their final regular season speech invite at Mitchell on Saturday, bringing home the Class C/D Championship trophy in the process.
In Entertainment, Hanna Berry earned 2nd place, Justin Dobrinski earned fourth. In Persuasive Speaking, JoNelle Bowman earned first place while Annabel Sauer earned sixth. In Program of Oral Interpretation, Cassandra Hopwood earned second, Katie Eckhardt, fourth. Hopwood also earned fifth in Extemporaneous, Eckhardt, sixth in Informative. In Poetry,Taylor Bright earned first, and Gaby Flores, second place.
In Humorous Prose, Adam Pence earned second place, and Lars Strawn, fifth place.The Oral Interpretation of Drama humorous team of Eden Strawn, Adam Pence, Lars Strawn, JoNelle Bowman, and Hanna Berry placed first overall.
