Lady Bulldogs finish third at state tournament

For the fourth consecutive year, the Bridgeport girls basketball team returned home with a trophy from the state tournament in Lincoln.

The Lady Bulldogs earned a third-place finish in Class C-1 for the second straight season. They ended the campaign with a final record of 27-1.

“It’s amazing what these girls have done this year,” Bridgeport head coach Dave Kuhlen said. “It’s so incredible.”
