Bridget Harrington is Bridgeport’s newest business owner, opening Bridget’s Gentle Grooming, LLC, located at 914-½ Main Street, in the back of the antique store connected to 385 Meat Market.
Animals have a special place in the heart of Harrington, who promises to treat your fur babies with love, patience, respect, and dignity, saying, “Grooming will forever be my passion.”
Harrington has been in the pet grooming business since 2014, first as an apprentice under Lia Whitmore and Brenda Pfister, the first two people to certify as world National Dog Groomers Association of America Master Groomers. About that experience, Harrington says, “These amazing and talented women taught me so many of the skills necessary for this career, including skin conditions, coat types, breed profile trims, animal behaviors, dog wellness, and more.”
