Janet Louise Blome, 66, of Bridgeport, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE. Cremation has taken place per her request. Her memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, with Reverend Richard Neugebauer officiating. Interment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport. It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers memorials be

Janet was born April 16, 1958, in Bridgeport, NE, to Herman E. Jr. and Elsie (Henkel) Blome. She lived on the family farm south of Bridgeport. Janet devoted her life to working together with her parents on the farm and caring for them until their passing.
