The Bridgeport High School boys golf team earned a runner- up finish at the South Platte Valley Association Tournament held last Thursday in Sutherland. Bridgeport and Perkins County both finished regulation play tied with scores of 349, but the Plainsmen were declared the winners of the team title following a one-hole playoff.
Four Bulldogs medaled in the top 10 individually. Harrison Barnette led the way in fourth place with a round of 83. Bodhi Dohse finished sixth with an 87, Holden Schultz placed eighth with an 89, and Nik Weibert took ninth with a 90. Gage Nein finished with a 99.
Earlier in the week at the Alliance Invite, Bridgeport finished with a team score of 373. Again four Bulldogs medaled individually in the top 10.
