Mayor Gail Beyer opened the raffle by proclaiming Saturday, April 27 as the official Arbor Day for Bridgeport.
The types of trees raffled by the Bridgeport Tree Board included elm (2), peach, honey crisp apple, crabapple, linden (2), weeping willow, and ponderosa pine (3).
