Free clean-up day set for September 28

BRIDGEPORT—The City of Bridgeport and Waste Connections are pleased to announce that the fall City clean-up day will be held on Saturday, September 28.

Waste Connections will have the transfer station at 405 West Fifth Street open from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon) for all non-commercial City Residents to bring household furniture, small and large appliances and scrap lumber. No tree branches, refrigerators, freezers, shingles, batteries, chemicals, wet paint, oil or tires will be allowed. Cans of paint must have been opened and the paint dried.

This is a free service, and the City of Bridgeport and Waste Connections encourage all residents to take this opportunity to dispose of unwanted waste on their property.
