The Bridgeport cross country team continued to show progress in a pair of meets this past week. Hosting their home Run at the Rocks meet last Tuesday, both the Bulldog boys and girls placed third in the team divisions and medaled multiple runners individually.
Ron Varner paced the Bridgeport boys with a third-place finish. He finished the course in a time of 18 minutes, 28 seconds.
Taylor Eichthaler clocked a 20:07 to crack the top 10 in eighth place. Jose Arreola was also a top-15 medalist as he finished 12th in a time of 20:36.Three other Bulldogs earned top-20 finishes.
