Competing against a stacked Class B field last Tuesday at the Gering Invitational held at Monument Shadows Golf Course, the Bridgeport girls golf team earned a seventh- place finish.
The Bulldogs carded a 490 as a team. Chadron won the title with a winning score of 377. Scottsbluff finished second and Sidney was third.
Bridgeport was paced individually by Mara Soto.The senior shot a 111 to finish 28th. Emma Dohse was next in line for the Bulldogs.The freshman carded a 124 to place 36th. Olivia Joles followed in 38th with a 127 and Katie Eckhardt was right behind in 39th with a 128.
