Following a week off, the Leyton football team showed no signs of rust in a 47-32 victory over Potter-Dix last Friday in Dalton.The win improved the Warriors to 3-1 on the season.
Leyton took control of the Coyotes early by moving out to a 19-6 lead at the end of the first quarter.The Warriors extended their advantage to 33-6 at halftime and cruised the rest of the way.
Alec Watchorn had a monster game for the Warriors. He completed 7 of his 10 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns.Watchorn also carried the ball 16 times for 170 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
