Bulldogs capture WTC volleyball title for first time since 2015

For the first time since 2015, the Bridgeport volleyball team captured the championship of the Western Trails Conference Tournament last Thursday in Kimball.

The Bulldogs, who improved to 16-7 on the season, swept all three of their opponents on the way to the title.

“What an honor to take home the first WTC championship in almost a decade,” Bridgeport head coach Grace Simmons said. “The girls have worked so hard this season and were determined to take the title. I hope anyone watching the games noted how much these girls love volleyball and how much fun they have playing it.”
