Kyra Robbins saved her best running for the most important time of the cross country season.
After winning the South Platte Valley Association title to close out the regular season, the Bridgeport senior earned a state qualification by placing sixth at the Class C, District 5 meet held last Thursday in Ogallala. Robbins clocked a time of 21 minutes, 5 seconds to claim her state berth.
The state meet will be held Friday at the Kearney Country Club. Robbins will be the Bulldogs’ lone entry.
