Kyra Robbins capped off her senior cross country season with a 21st-place finish at the Class C state meet held last Friday at Kearney Country Club. Robbins finished the race with a time of 21 minutes, 10.2 seconds.
It capped a strong finish to the campaign by Robbins, who recorded some of her top finishes of the season coming down the stretch.
“Kyra Robbins had a fantastic year placing sixth in Class C districts, 21st at the Nebraska state championships, and was the South Platte Valley Conference champion,” Bridgeport cross country coach Pat Goltl said. “Kyra is an extremely hard worker and is a very calm, smart runner.”
