GERING—Legacy of the Plains Museum is holding a free day at the museum for all veterans and active-duty personnel on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11. Refreshments will be served in the museum’s lobby. The museum will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
As a way to say thank you to all of those that served in the armed forces, Legacy has a Veterans Exhibit in our lobby.We have several artifacts displayed, as well as pictures of local veterans. If you have a picture of a veteran that you want displayed, please contact the museum at 308-436-1989.The veteran’s exhibit is free to the general public and will be up in the lobby until November 23.
