Bulldogs send six to state

Last week, Bridgeport sent six wrestlers to the mats at the state championship meet in Omaha.While none of the Bulldogs stood on the podium to receive medals, several worked their way toward the top before falling short of a title.

In the girls division, at 120 pounds, Kyra Robbins, who took second place at districts, faced off against Oliviana Medina or Ralston in the first round, but fell to Medina before falling in the next match to Isabelle Skrdla of Pierce, ending her day early.

Robbins ends her sophomore year with an incredible 18-5 record, including 12 pins.
