The Leyton High School girls and boys basketball teams are aiming for more success this winter sports season.
Both squads will tip off their campaigns on Friday at Kimball.They will then host Morrill on Saturday.
After finishing 36-1 and placing second at the Class D-2 state volleyball tournament, many of the same players will attempt to try and duplicate those winning ways on the hardwood under head coach Jed Benish. Last season the Leyton girls just missed a state berth after falling in a district final and ending the campaign with a 21-4 mark.
