It was an impressive start to the season for the Bridgeport girls and boys wrestling teams. Both squads were in action on the mat multiple times during the opening week.
The Bulldog girls were victorious in both of their events. They captured the team championships in tournaments in Chadron and Cozad on back-to-back days.
At the Chadron Invitational last Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs finished on top with a team score of 160. Gering was second with 138 and Chadron took third with 120.
