The Bridgeport Board of Education held their regular meeting on December 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. All board members were present.The consent agenda, which included the approval of minutes, financial reports, bills and payroll, was approved unamously.
There were three action items voted on by the board.They approved the second and final reading of board policies 3014 (Use of School Property) and 4030 (Evaluation of Certified Employees) and approved a teaching contract for Anne VanWinkle for the 2025-2026 school year.
Mr. Schlothauer reported that all the students who are going on the NY trip have made their December payments. The group will continue to raise funds after the first of the year to pay for the rest of the trip.
