A trio of wins last week extended the Bridgeport girls basketball team’s historic regular- season winning streak to an incredible 60.
The school-record streak began in January of 2022 and is still going strong as Dave Kuhlen’s Lady Bulldogs improved to 5-0 on the season.
Tacey From’s career-high 31 points led Bridgeport to an 83-72 win over Class B Gering. From was joined in double figures by Ella Schluterbusch with 15, Olivia Brown with 14, and Elizabeth Velazquez with 10. From hit three 3-pointers, while Schluterbusch and Brown drained two each. Jailyn Nichols added six points.
