The Bridgeport wrestling teams capped off the pre-holiday schedule with more successful results at the Bridgeport/ Sidney Invitational hosted by Sidney High School on Saturday.
Bridgeport’s girls squad finished on top of the team race with a winning score of 159.They edged Gering, which ended second with 154.
Seven individual wrestlers claimed medals for the Bridgeport girls. Three of those were first-place medalists. Kyra Robbins, Cammie Rader, and Hayden Marks all won the championships of their weight classes.
