After having its regular- season winning streak ended by Ogallala, the Bridgeport girls basketball team rebounded with a pair of victories last weekend to improve to 10-1 on the season.
The 54-44 setback to the Indians stopped the Lady Bulldogs’ school-record streak at 63 wins in a row. Bridgeport couldn’t overcome 18-percent field goal shooting in the contest. Olivia Brown returned to the lineup after a foot injury to score a season-high 20 points with three 3-pointers. Brown shot 9 of 10 at the foul line.
She also grabbed five rebounds and collected three steals.
