A new beginning in District 47: A commitment to serve

It is both and honor and a privilege to serve as your new State Senator for District 47. After winning the general election on November 5, 2024, I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me to represent our community in the Nebraska State Senate. I am committed to fulfilling my responsibilities with integrity, dedication, and a positive mindset as we begin this new chapter together.

On January 8th, we marked the start of the 109th legislative session, a 90-day period during which important decisions will shape the future of our state. Day 1 was a moment I will always cherish, and I had the privilege of sharing it with my greatest supporters – my wife, Kendra, my parents, and Kendra’s family.Their presence made the milestone even more special, and I am grateful for their love and encouragement as I take on this new role.

I would also like to express my deep gratitude to Senator Steve Erdman, who served District 47 with distinction for two terms, a total of eight years. His dedication to our district and our state leaves a legacy that I will build upon as I step into this new role.
