Warriors post more wins on the hardwood

The Leyton girls and boys basketball teams enjoyed more success on the hardwood last week.

With the addition of three lopsided wins, the Lady Warriors improved to 16-1 on the season.

In a 70-10 victory over Banner County, Zaili Benish scored a game-high 35 points for the Warriors. She hit five 3-pointers. Benish also led the way with seven assists and seven steals. Kaydence Haupt added 10 points and totaled six rebounds. Sydney Fortune added nine points. Ella Haley grabbed a teamhigh nine rebounds. She also recorded six steals and blocked two shots. Shawnee Gamble added five assists.
