Bridgeport served as the Western Nebraska site for Singing Youth of Nebraska, a middle school honor choir event sponsored by the Nebraska Choral Directors Association, for which Mrs. Babic serves as the District 6 Regional Representative. The group was composed of 3 students from Bayard, 2 from Hemingford, 12 from Kimball, and 34 from Bridgeport, and performed, “Tongo,” “The Little Creek,” “Going Over Home,” “Now and Then,” and “Dies Irae.” The clinician was Brad Ronne from Scottsbluff High School, and the collaborative pianist was Barb Becker.
