It was a basketball extravaganza last week in the new gymnasium at Bridgeport High School when the Bulldog family hosted the Crevier family and their spectacular show. Finalists out of 100,000 acts on America’s Got Talent, Bruce and Diane Crevier and their brood of twelve perform shows around the world, having been to forty countries, using their talents and resources, “To encourage, equip, inspire and challenge youth and adults to become Champions in the Game of Life.”
Champions Forever, as the family is referred to professionally, uses their unconventional basketball show to entertain and share a message of hope to those in attendance. Last Monday, they brought their act to Bridgeport, enthralling everyone in the room, kindergarten through high school, and teachers too.
As the performers dribbled basketballs atop ten foot unicycles, rode in formation together around the gym, dribbled and spun basketballs, even raising a spinning ball to the ceiling, kids and adults alike were engaged in the message of hope that went along with it. They focus on honesty, others, purpose and excellence, and each performer had something to say about what those words mean and how to apply them in everyday life. The group involved teachers and students in various activities.
