Bridgeport girls take first place at the last two meets

Bridgeport girls took first place at the Bayard wrestling triangular last Thursday night, defeating Bayard 30-24, and Mitchell, 30-15.

Bridgeport boys placed second, defeating Bayard 42-30.

In the 130-lb. bracket for the girls team, Kamden Parker pinned Mitchell’s Amelia Stoll in 3:58, the only fall recorded in the match against Mitchell. In the second match against Bayard girls, Hayden Marks, wrestling at 170-lbs., defeated Maily Wood in a 49 second pin, the only fall in that matchup.
