Friday was a good day for both Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs on the track at Morrill when they participated in the George Calvert Track Meet.
Following behind first place Mitchell and second place Lingle- Fort Laramie, Bridgeport sat in third place for both men and women divisions.
For the ladies, top three finishes went to Grace Dean, 1st in shotput with a personal record of 36’ 11”and Megan Cline, 3rd place, throwing it 31’ 3”. Ruthie Loomis-Goltl placed 1st in discus with a 133’ throw, followed by Dean in 2nd place. Loomis- Goltl also placed 1st in the high jump.Taylor Bright earned 2nd place in the 100-meter with a time of 1374 and a 3rd-place finish in the 400-meter with a personal record of 1:06. Brooklyn Mohrman took 2nd in the 800-meters with 2:47. Olivia Loomis-Goltl placed 3rd in long jump, with a personal record of 16’ 0.25”.
