The Bridgeport Board of Education held their regular meeting on May 8 at 8 p.m. in the high school library. All members but Mr. Corman were present along with all administration and Ms.Vonnie Brown. There were two action items; the first was the revision on first reading of several board policies (this is an annual process).The second item was to offer a teaching contract for the 2023-2024 school year to Mr. Jase Dean. Mr.
Dean will be one of the fifthgrade teachers next year as Mrs. Watts will be leaving fifth grade to teach the new preschool.The following items were covered in the administrative reports: 1.We host Class D-5 District Golf on Monday, May 15th.
2.Tomorrow night [5/9] is the Fine Arts Fair at 5 p.m., with the 7-12 Spring Concert at 7:15 p.m. 3.We are currently short bus/ SUV substitutes for routes. Mr. Lambert has been driving every Friday and will drive this Thursday and Friday because of the shortage of substitute drivers. If you know of anyone interested in pursuing a CDL/bus permit or just driving an SUV or van, please have them contact Mr.
