GORDON—The Bridgeport Bomber senior and junior legion baseball teams suffered a pair of late-inning setbacks on their road trip to Gordon last Wednesday.
It marked the first games of the season for the Bombers against Class C competition. Bridgeport and Gordon are the only Class C programs in the Panhandle.
In a back-and-forth senior contest, the Bombers fell 11-10 in eight innings.That came on the heels of a junior game in which Gordon rallied for an 8-6 win in its final at-bat.
