Betty and her twin brother, Herman Jr., were born April 15, 1926, in the family home in Bancroft, NE. Betty’s parents were Herman Blome, Sr. and Lana (Abendroth) Blome.

All nine children were born in the family home south of Bancroft, with the same doctor and their grandmother, a midwife, attending. In 1937 the family moved to Bridgeport, NE, where they lived on the Camp Clark Ranch west of Bridgeport. Betty attended a little one-room school house west of the ranch until the school closed.The remainder of her school years were in the Bridgeport schools, graduating in the class of 1944.

Betty married Henry Tilden in June 1944; he passed away in February 1947.

In September 1950, Betty married Leonard Reuter.To this union four children were born: John,William (Geraldine), Lynn, and Susan (Steve) Smith.

Betty was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; four brothers: Lewis, Eugene, Herman Jr. and Willis George; and four sisters: Gladys Nichols, Donna Amateis, Joyce Whitaker, and Joan Woods.

Survivors include her children, grandchildren Dakotah and Carson (Leah) Reuter, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She will be sincerely missed by all who knew her.
