Rudy was born on June 27, 1932, in Jalisco, Mexico, to Maria Guadalupe Dominguez Vasquez and Apolonia Cisneros. He lived there until he was 14, then made the long journey to the United States where he became a citizen. He began working in the fields of Texas, making his way to Chicago, Illinois, to work in a steel factory and laying pipelines. He then made his way to Bridgeport, NE, and became a business owner. Bridgeport became his home, where he married his wife Lourdes and they had their children. Rudy built countless miles of barbed wire fence around the area. It was his passion for over 35 years.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jose Cisneros Dominguez; daughter Martha and granddaughter Audrey Dominguez.

He is survived by his wife Lourdes Dominguez; children Sarah Arredondo, Rudy Dominguez, Alfredo Dominguez, Ruben (Ashleigh) Dominguez, Monica (Jesse) Weibert and Ramon Dominguez; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
