Lori graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1980, and then attended Western Nebraska Community College, studying art. She worked at several Scottsbluff businesses, most recently as office manager for Bluffco, and processing orders for Game Time Cards and Collectibles.

Lori enjoyed all forms of art, flower gardening and taking care of her cats and dogs, so it will come as no surprise that memorials in her honor should be made to the Panhandle Humane Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Richard, Gordon and Edward; and sisters Linda Gunter and Barbara Cape.

She is survived by her brothers Larry, Ronald, Rodney and LeRoy; sister Marci Mrsny; nieces and nephews Chris (Faith) and Phil Cape, Jack (Jennifer) and Matthew Gunter, and Violet and Max Mrsny; as well as great-nephews and -nieces.

She will be laid to rest at a private family service in Dalton, Nebraska, later this summer.
